| The band travels on tour each year to regional locations such as California, Canada, Colorado,Illinois, Minnesota or Wisconsin. In addition to Concert Band, musicians may participate in two other ensembles -- Jazz Band and the String Ensemble. Both of these groups are often invited to perform at several college and community functions throughout the year. |

| Spiritual life experiences are fostered through a number of activities and committees, including chapel services, student ministry teams, Bible studies, volunteer activities, and more. All religious life activities are planned with the guidance of the college's chaplain. |

| If initiating policy and change interest you, perhaps student government is your calling. Student Senate represents the student body for matters concerning student opinions, policies and campus activities. |

| Several academic departments (psychology, business, for example) sponsor clubs which participate in academic conferences and have the option to present papers at these events. |
