Dr. Richard Armey `63 is the former United States House Majority Leader.

Dr. Alex Burr `53 is an Emeritus Professor of Physics at New Mexico State University at Las Cruces.

Teresa M. (Vogel) Urlacher `92 received a Ph.D. in chemistry and is an applications scientist at Li-Cor, Inc., Lincoln, Neb.

Shirley (Richardson) Dykshoorn `75 is North Dakota's first woman to be elected Chair of the Democratic Party.

Michael Unhjem `75 is president and chief executive officer of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota.

Mark H. Ereth, M.D. `80 is associate professor of anesthesiology at Mayo Clinic and Mayo Foundation, Rochester, Minn.

Dr. Hurdis (Hoerauf) Griffith `63 recently retired as professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin. She is recognized by many to be an outstanding authority in nursing and health care policy in the United States.

 
James Unruh - CEO of the Year

James Unruh `63 is principal of Alerion Capital Group, LLC. He was chairman, president and CEO of Unisys Corporation from 1990 to 1997. While at Unisys, he was named CEO of the Year and featured on the cover of Business Philadelphia magazine (photo above).

Dr. Abigail Rian Evans-Powers `58 is professor of practical theology at Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, N.J.

Barbara McClintock `77, a noted children's book illustrator, helped adapt one of her works into a play performed by the Children's Theatre Company of Minneapolis.

Catherine (Wells) Dimenstein `73 is a science fiction book author with several national publishers.

Cory Mantyka `93 plays for the Canadian Football League's British Columbia Lions.

  Jennifer McCulloch `95 was one of 50 to receive a scholarship through the IBM Scholars Program.

Cal Hoovestol `76 served as the N.D. State Securities Commissioner.

Tessa Gould `96 owns Kota Group, a political consulting business in Bismarck, N.D.

Bob Wells `94 conducted summer research in neurobiology at the University of Iowa and advanced to medical school at Dartmouth before returning to practice medicine in Jamestown.

Tamara Ashley `94 landed the role of Susanna in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro as a first-year student in the vocal performance graduate program at the University of Nebraska.

Jeffrey Frommelt `63 is a healthcare planning consultant in the Chicago area.

Dr. Elizabeth Styrvoky `55 is director of an all-female Twin Cities medical practice.
