Infection" wins 2003 JC Men's Intramural Basketball Championship
It took two championship games, but Staff
Infection edged Benga's Bengals 59-50 in their 9th game of the tournament to
repeat as champions of JC Intramural Basketball. Ramon Hill led the way
with 24 points, with Joel Nieskens and Chad Frandson adding 15 each for
Staff. Jeff White with 12 and Dan Barstad with 11 hit double figures for
the Bengals. The Bengals (under Coach Jeff Konigbagbe) tied the Critters
for the regular season championship and ended the season with an outstanding
13-3 record. Staff lost its second game in the tourney and then won 8

are 2003 JC Women's Intramural Basketball Champions
The Quitters held off spirited
Manglers team to win the 2003 JC Women's Intramural Basketball title by a score
of 40-32 in the championship game on Wednesday night. The Quitters rode 14
points from Jacey Skoglund and 12 from Katie Rood to the title game
victory. Brandi Geider and Kama Iverson led the Manglers with 7
each. The Quitters finished the season with a perfect record of
12-0. Members of the championship team are: Katie
Goehring, Caron Jungels, Jacey Skoglund, Katie Rood, Tonya Schlaht, Beth Bartsch,
Abby Greshik, Lacey Fleckenstein, and Molly Wales.

"That
Team" Wins JC COED Intramural Volleyball Crown
The team called "That Team" went
through the league and tournament schedule unbeaten to win the 2002 Jamestown
College Intramural COED Volleyball Championship. "That Team"
advanced through the tourney with a bye in the first round. They won by
forfeit over the Village Idiots in the quarterfinals. They won a close
battle with the # 4 ranked team - Team USA - by scores of 30-28, 30-24.
Team Ramrod put up a good fight in the championship game, succumbing by scores
of 30-28 and 30-16. "That Team" ended the season with an overall
record of 13-0 in matches and 26-0 in games. Bouncy Balls were the other
team that advanced as far as the semifinals. Members of the championship

Team Monson defeated Grrr 10-4 to claim the 2002 Women's Intramural Flag
Football Championship, while the Trailer Park Trashers downed the Great
Unknowns 6-4 for the Men's Championship.

Behind an incredible 9 touchdowns by Jessica Petersen, Team Monson led all the
way. Petersen also threw a touchdown pass to Tina Reinhart to have a hand
in all the scoring. Nikki Alexander caught a touchdown pass from Dewey
Duvall and scored twice on runs. Duvall connected with Chelsea Haines for
the other touchdown.

Eric Cahill, and Jeremy Johnson for the winners. The unknowns got 2
