Coach Shawn Frank
begins his fourth year as the defensive backs coach for the Jimmies. In addition to his duties as an assistant football coach, Frank is also the manager of the Frappier Speed & Acceleration program on campus.
Prior to coming to Jamestown, Frank spent 10 years in Hettinger, his hometown. He spent one year as an assistant and nine seasons as head coach of the Black Devils, compiling a 49-32 record. The Black Devils qualified for the state playoffs six times in his nine seasons, highlighted by the 2000 Region IV title and two other regional runner-up finishes. He coached 17 all-state players and has seen many former players play collegiately in either the DAC or North Central Conference. In 2000, Frank was also named the athletic director of the Hettinger Public School system. Frank has also served as an assistant coach for the North Dakota Shrine Bowl.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in physical education at the University of Mary, where he began his coaching career as the running backs coach in 1992. He was a two-time All-NDCAC first-team selection as a defensive back.
Frank and his wife, Lori, reside in Jamestown, and have two daughters, Sarah (22) and Kayla (19). Lori is employed by the BCSC District, and serves as the Watershed Coordinator for Barnes County.

Trainer Boya Quichocho
is in his second year as the Speed Enhancement Trainer at Jamestown College. After receiving the Level 3 Certification from Athletic Republic Headquarters in Fargo, ND, Boya took over as the Full-Time trainer for the Jamestown College Speed Enhancement Facility. In addition to his duties in the Speed Enhancement room, Boya is also the Full-Time Assistant coach for the Jamestown College Jimmie baseball team.
Before coaching at Jamestown College, Boya finished his college baseball career as a Jimmie. Coach Quichocho was named to multiple DAC All-Conference and All-Region teams in his two year career here at Jamestown College. He also led the Jimmies in stolen bases in 2005 with 31 and in 2006 with 25. Boya helps coach the hitters, infielders and works with the base-runners.
