Jamestown College is an NAIA II affiliated school of approximately 1100 students located in Jamestown, North Dakota. The Jimmies are members of the Dakota Athletic Conference, which was formed in the fall of 2000.
Jamestown proudly offers 8 men's and 7 women's sports in: basketball, cross country, golf, track & field, soccer, football, volleyball, wrestling, softball, and baseball.
Jamestown College has been recognized by the Education Trust for having the highest graduation rate of all colleges of a similar size and student makeup in 17 states (60.8%). It's also listed in the Princeton Review as one of the best Midwestern colleges and by U.S. News and World Report 2007 Edition of "America's Best Colleges" as a top tier baccalaureate college in the Midwest Region. Jamestown College is the only North Dakota college or university to achieve top-tier status in their rankings. JC is also listed on the Top 100 Honor Roll for its support of student-athletes through scholarships. |

| Jimmies win DAC Commissioner's Cup. |
| Jamestown College has been awarded the Dakota Athletic Conference Commissioner's cup for the 2007-2008 school year. The award goes to the school with the best overall record in conference competition for the school year.
The Jimmies won the conference title in men's basketball and a share of the conference title in football. Both of those teams advanced to the NAIA playoffs.
Points are awarded based on each school's finish in sports that crown a conference championship: football, volleyball, wrestling, baseball, softball, and men's and women's golf, cross country, basketball, indoor and outdoor track & field.

| Becca Price – Freshman – Jimmie Track & Field – Hometown: Great Falls, Montana. Becca threw a career-best 121' 8" to capture 3rd place in the DAC Outdoor track & field meet in the javelin. Becca had previously placed second in the javelin in both the Sioux City Relays and Al Cassell Relays. |

| Jeremy Burgard – Senior – Jimmie Baseball – Hometown: Dickinson, North Dakota. Jeremy hit .450 in the DAC Tournament on 9 hits in 20 at-bats. Jeremy scored 3 runs, drove in 6 runs, hit 3 doubles and a triple and stole 2 bases. His slugging percentage was .700. |

| Week of April 14 – April 20 |

| Jessica Johnson – Freshman – Jimmie Golf – Hometown: Roseau, Minnesota. Jessica won the Bismarck State College tourney on Thursday by one shot, shooting an 83, which included a hole-in-one on the final hole. Jessica placed second in the DAC tournament at Spearfish with a 2-day total of 176 and earned All-Conference honors. She led the Ji8mmies golf team to a qualifying spot in the Region III tournament. |

| Chris Massey – Senior – Jimmie Track & Field – Hometown: Minot, North Dakota. Chris placed 2nd in the 400 meters in the 50.10 and 6th in the 800 in 1:57.33 in the Sioux City Relays on Friday night. On Saturday, Chris ran legs on the 4*100, 4*400 and 4*800 relay teams that all earned places. |

| Cassie Dellwo – Senior – Jimmie Track & Field – Hometown: Polson, Montana. Cassie broke her own Jamestown College school record in the hammer throw at the Bison Open Meet on Sunday with a mark of 144' 0". Cassie shared the previous record with Kelly Humphries (2000) at 139' 7". |

| Miles Johnson – Junior – Jimmie Baseball – Hometown: Oak Point, Manitoba. Miles, the Jimmie catcher, batted .500 with a 1.100 slugging percentage as the Jimmies went 5-0 for the week. Miles was 5-for-10 at the plate with 2 home runs, 2 runs scored, 6 RBI, 2 walks, and 2 stolen bases. |
