| Jimmies top DAC Scholar-Athletes 6/30/2009 |
| Jamestown College topped the DAC with (138) scholar-athletes in the 2008-2009 season. Students who have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher are named as a DAC scholar for that semester. Individual certificates are awarded to athletes who qualify. A recognition plaque is given to the member institution with the highest percentage of athletes that qualify for the scholars program for the year. |

Minot State will remain eligible for postseason competition and league awards.
The Dakota Athletic Conference presidents, meeting in Bismarck on Tuesday, decided to allow MSU to continue with business as usual while making a move to NCAA Division II. |

| DAC Athletic Directors make recommendation to the Board of Directors 6/12/2009 |
| The athletic directors of the eight schools of the Dakota Athletic Conference have made a recommendation to the conference Board of Directors to add a clause to the individual sport regulations outlining post-season play, and policies and procedures for determining conference championships and representatives to NAIA post-season competition. |
