Jamestown College’s initial 16-man recruiting class for 2010, announced today by head football coach Bud Etzold, includes 14 prospects who signed letters of intent on Wednesday and two student-athletes who enrolled at Jamestown in January.

Jamestown College head football coach Bud Etzold announces Rob Gibson of West Fargo is transferring to Jamestown College and will play football for the Jimmies as a defensive back and return specialist.

Minot State made its case for the pollsters. Still on the outside looking in as the NAIA football playoff picture develops, the No. 21-ranked Beavers wrapped up the regular season with a big win over Jamestown College in the inaugural DAC Bowl.

The Jimmies will get a rematch against the Minot State Beavers this Sunday at the FARGODOME in the inaugural Dacotah Bank DAC Bowl. Kick-off is set for 4 pm.

The Jamestown College footall team ended a 5-0 October with a 38-19 win over Valley City State on Saturday at Lokken Field.
 
Jimmies look to make it five straight  10/30/2009
Stretching their four-game winning streak to five is more important to coach Bud Etzold than the hoopla surrounding the annual Paint Bucket game. Etzold appreciates and enjoys the long-running rivalry between the Jimmies and Vikings, but the bottom line is after all the fuss, they’re going to Lokken Field to get a win.
 
Jimmies take down Yellow Jackets  10/26/2009
Make it four straight for the Jimmies.

After opening the football season with four straight losses, the Jimmies evened things up with a 38-21 victory over Black Hills State on Saturday in Spearfish, S.D.
