WELCOME AND MOVE-IN DAY!
 
8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.WELCOME CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE - REILAND LOBBY (A):
 
 It’s a great day to be a JIMMIE! This is your ultimate pit-stop and welcome to Jamestown College! Pick up your welcome packet—make sure you look over the contents thoroughly. Take care of all your important college business: pick up your college ID, set-up computer account, emergency notification sign-up, housing information; as well as pay your bill and sign your loan papers. Make sure you hit all the important pit stops. Your admissions counselor and orientation leaders will be there to greet you as you arrive! Refreshments will be provided.
 
8:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.BLAST OFF WITH THE JIMMIE MOVE-IN CREW (A):
 
 Residence Halls are open! TODAY IS THE DAY! The Jimmie Move-In Crew will be stationed outside the residence halls ready to assist you—refreshments will be provided to help you reenergize and cool-off. High quality H2O provided.

 Meet your orientation group, review the orientation schedule, icebreakers, team building fun, questions and answers, and so much more! The Orientation Group competition starts HERE! DON’T LET YOUR GROUP DOWN!

 Question and answer session to learn more about your student’s major interest area.

 This is the kick-off event for the class of 2008. Celebrate the official beginning of your college experience! Learn the Jimmie Fight Song—HEAR ABOUT GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION COMPETITIONS—Just by attending you will have an opportunity to win a dorm-size fridge stocked full!

 SOC's act out various issues from college. A chance for discussion, questions, and answers. After a long day of moving, it's time for parents to take a break, relax, and meet other new Jimmie parents. Socialize and enjoy refreshments.
