The Jamestown College Department of Nursing announces nine senior students were inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International nursing honor society and the Xi-Kappa Chapter-at-Large in November.

Jamestown College will host an open house for its new and developing Doctor of Physical Therapy program at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17 in the Heritage Room of Westminster Hall (Nafus Center) on the Jamestown College campus.
Program director Dr. Nancy Nuzzo and admissions counselor Mic McCrory will be on hand to answer questions about the program, admission requirements and application process. The Jamestown College Look Beyond Committee will host “Gateway to China” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6 in Level Two of the Nafus Student Center, Westminster Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Hands-on activities led by Zhu Shuyi, guest professor from Huizou University, Guangdong Province, will include calligraphy, games and knot tying while guests enjoy music, photos, film and more.
The Look Beyond Committee at Jamestown College plans activities which encourage students and community members to look beyond to learn about other people and cultures.

Jamestown College has named 48 students as Jimmie Ambassadors for the 2012-13 school year.
The Jimmie Ambassador program is a public relations organization of students who assist in the promotion of the College to prospective students and their parents. Members of the College’s admissions staff serve as advisers for the organization. read more »
