Common Experience

 

 

We have planned an orientation with programs and activities just for you! Plus your Journey 101 academic experience starts during Orientation. A key element for success is a strong foundation, so we have organized a common experience for you. All first year students at Jamestown College will view the movie "Temple Grandin", followed by a question and discussion time within your Journey 101 groups. Keep in mind there are academic consequences for not attending orientation activities related to your Journey 101 class.

 

 

 

 

 

You will be joining your first year seminar class to view this year's common experience.

Join your first year seminar instructor, peer guide, and orientation leaders. Your instructor will lead discussions about the summer movie. This is an opportunity for an in-depth academic discussion similar to many you will have in the classroom.
