Students of Service ship gifts for Operation Christmas Child

Jamestown College’s Students of Service recently packed and shipped more than 130 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.

The project is a year-round endeavor for the group members as they fundraise and collect gifts to brighten Christmas for boys and girls around the world. The entire Jamestown College community gets involved by contributing items or monetary support toward the project. The Jimmie Knight Line Dance Team helped Students of Service members pack the gifts.

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to people around the world.
