Nursing students select Student Nurse of the Year
Jamestown College junior nursing student Lisa Harsch of Sioux Falls, S.D., has been named Student Nurse of the Year by the Jamestown College Nursing Student Association (NSA).
Other finalists were Taylor Bush, Fargo, and Kayla Lemieux, Lisbon.
Harsch is Community Health Chairperson for the Jamestown College NSA and is also active in choir. She will represent Jamestown College at the State Student Nurse of the Year competition.
Criteria for Student Nurse of the Year include participation in NSA and leadership abilities. Candidates are nominated by the nursing faculty, and the Student Nurse of the Year is selected after an essay and interview.
