Accounting students offering tax preparation

Jamestown College accounting students are again offering the IRS-sponsored Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program for low-income and elderly taxpayers. The students will prepare and electronically file federal and state tax returns by appointment, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 2 in room 136 of the Unruh and Sheldon Center on the Jamestown College campus.

Appointments are required and can be made by calling 253-4468. If there is no answer, please leave a message and the call will be returned. Appointments can also be made by sending e-mail to vita@jc.edu.
