As a new college student, we welcome you to Jamestown College and invite you to take a look around our website. A four-day jammed packed orientation where we teach you everything you need to know about Jamestown College: campus tours, one-on-one time with your academic advisor, common experience movie, residence life activities, and SO MUCH MORE! Plus Journey 101 starts here! (August 22 to August 25, 2013)

 

A Community Block Party where over 70 community organizations, churches, and non-profits participate. As a college student, learn about the community, meet Jamestown residents and become familiar with the businesses, service organizations and churches in the area. (August 29, 2013)

 

A Journey 101 Class (or first year experience) is planned and scheduled specifically for you.  This is the first step in your Journey at Jamestown College. We encourage you to look inward. 

 

A peer mentor is assigned to work one-on-one with you. This mentor assists with your journey 101 class and assists you with all your needs (keep in mind—they have been in your shoes).

 

An academic advisor is assigned to work one-on-one with you and guide you through your schedule, classes, and so much more!
