Jamestown College Radiologic Technology Distinctions

Radiologic technologists are health professionals who perform x-rays, ultrasound, and similar procedures to obtain images of the body in order to help physicians diagnose and treat illness and injury. You will complete two years of required courses at Jamestown College before applying to complete a two-year certification program at a hospital or clinic. As a radiologic technology major at Jamestown College, you will benefit from:

  • courses and labs taught by faculty, not graduate students
  • a student community which creates an atmosphere of learning and mutual success
  • advisers who keep abreast of new developments in employment and research in the biology field to provide the best personal assistance possible
  • a liberal arts tradition which provides an important perspective for a strong science background
