The Spring FLAND conference will be held in early April on a Friday and Saturday with sectionals for French, German, Latin and Spanish. The conference tends to be around the 7-14 of April. For more information, consult the spring edition of the FLAND NEWS.
The Fall FLAND conference is always held at the same place and on the same dates in October as the NDEA teachers' conference. Each fall, FLAND brings an important leader in Foreign Language education to the teachers of North Dakota thanks to the substantial financial support of NDEA. Because of this reason, the fall conference is open only to those who have current NDEA memberships or to those who have paid an NDEA non-member conference fee. For more information, consult the fall edition of the FLAND NEWS.
Border state teachers: If you are a member of an
NEA affiliate in your state or province you may
attend the NDEA Instructional Conference in Bismarck by showing your NEA
affiliate membership
card. To participate in the FLAND sessions you must also be a member of
FLAND.
