What To Bring - August 18, 2011

Coming to college is a big step for anyone to take and it might seem overwhelming. In order to lighten your load a little we have made a list of common items that are necessities for students. We recommend that you contact your roommate prior to coming to Jamestown College—this will help you determine what to bring. Because, let's face it, you're not moving into a mansion. Also, to save space there is the option of renting a loft for the school year. The loft is like the top of a bunk bed without the bed underneath. This allows for more room for other items. For more information on loft rental contact the Office of Residence Life at Jamestown College.

The residence Halls will open at 8am. You will need to stop at the Reiland Lobby before proceeding to your residence hall. Once you are on-campus, the Jimmie Move-In Crew will assist you in moving into your residence hall. As soon as the vehicle has been unloaded, you will need to move it to a parking location in order to keep the traffic flowing in and around campus. If you have any questions about residence life or move-in contact the Office or Residence Life.
